Dear Colleagues,
It is really a great pleasure for us to invite you to join us at the 11th IGCC, which will be held in Sao Paulo in June 2013 from 4 to 7.
After the wonderful time spent all over the world through the several editions of the International Gastric Cancer Congress, and mostly the last Congress in Verona, we are very happy to host you all in our country - Brazil
We will receive you all, with the traditional warmth and friendship of Brazilian people, in this impressive 3rd largest city in the world, with almost 12 mi. inhabitants in a very traditional Convention Center, the WTC Sheraton - Hotel, in the new business and commercial center of Sao Paulo city (www.wtc.com.br)
We will have a 3 days meeting, looking to the present and future of the Gastric Cancer over the world with an additional pre-Congress one day event on Digestive Cancer.
The International Gastric Cancer Association – IGCA, has strongly contributed in the last 18 years to the progress, prevention, detection and treatment of this disease, proposing, publishing, teaching and spreading new methods to be applied everywhere.
This can be considered the great merit of our Society and the IGCC represents the gathering of the best experts in this domain, all together, pointing to the future and discussing with all of us the best measures to be applied in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the gastric cancer in all its aspects, with a multidisciplinary approach.
Therefore we will gather oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, endoscopists and surgeons from more than 37 countries to discuss and share their experience.
Beside all the scientific benefits there will be the opportunity to know and enjoy the beauty of this thrilling city and the exciting pre and post congress touristic sites as Amazon, Pantanal, Iguazu Falls, Rio de Janeiro and many, many other beautiful places.
