The Esophageal and Gastric Cancer Initiative will be held on June 16-18, 2016, in Lisbon, Portugal by the Grupo de Investigação do Cancro Digestivo (Investigation group of Digestive Cancer), the International Gastric Cancer Association (IGCA) and the American College of Surgeons.

The main program will be focused on the New Trends of multimodal approach to these meaningful upper GI cancers.

The Europe Chapters of the American College of Surgeons will convene in Lisbon for their 1st Meeting. The Europe Fellows of the American College of Surgeons will have the appropriate time and place to discuss their visions to consolidate and to leap forward their common organizational structure.
